How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who contacts Althoughislands Pest Control to feel treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to raise a concern and what comes next. It is a general template, not legal advice.
What You Can Tell Us About
You can write to us about any of these:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Althoughislands Pest Control
- The way your personal information was handled
- Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
- How a provider we connected you with behaved
When the Problem Is a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, prices, products, work and customer service. If you have trouble with work done in your home, the usual first step is to take it up with the provider directly. Keep a written record as you go.
We still want to hear about it. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider who repeatedly falls short of what we expect may be removed. Please know that Althoughislands Pest Control cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.
If your worry is about how a pesticide was applied, you can also contact the agency that oversees pest control in Texas.
How to Send a Complaint
Email contact@althoughislands.garden and include:
- Your name and the preferred way to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for
What Happens After You Write
We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look at what happened, which may include reaching out to the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we plan to take.
If You Are Still Unhappy
If our answer does not sit right with you, reply and ask us to take a second look. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau.
